Ruby Raid is a fast-paced arcade runner + shooting survival game where you accidentally awaken the Eye God by stealing a sacred ruby. From that moment, you’re constantly chased by a deadly laser beam while running through collapsing environments.
Unlike many endless runner games, Ruby Raid is not just about reflexes — it mixes shooting, timing, and route control under pressure, making every run feel like a survival puzzle.
Objective: Run as far as possible and reach the target distance without getting caught
Gameplay loop: Auto-run → dodge obstacles → shoot enemies → collect rubies → survive laser chase.
Controls:
⬅️ Left Arrow: Jump
➡️ Right Arrow: Shoot
1. Don’t spam jump — time your landing
Jumping too early often leads to landing inside traps. Wait until obstacles are fully visible before committing.
2. Always prioritize movement over shooting
New players often stop to shoot everything—bad idea — the Eye God laser punishes hesitation. Move first, shoot only when necessary.
3. Use shooting to clear “chain blockers”
Some enemies come in patterns. Don’t shoot randomly — aim for the first target in a chain to clear a full path.
4. Rubies are bait in risky zones
High-value ruby lines often appear near obstacles. If the laser is close, skip them. Survival > collection.
5. Learn laser timing pressure
The laser doesn’t just “follow” — it forces rhythm changes. After 2–3 runs, you’ll start feeling its timing and instinctively speed up.
From actual gameplay experience, Ruby Raid feels stressful in a good way. The biggest tension comes from constantly hearing/seeing the laser closing in — even when the screen looks safe, you never feel safe.
Common real issues players face:
Skill progression is noticeable:
After a few runs, you stop reacting emotionally and start playing rhythmically — that’s when the game becomes highly addictive.
Unlike many “endless runner + shooter” games:
This makes Ruby Raid closer to a survival speed-run hybrid rather than a casual runner.
